The second runner-up of Miss Lebanon 2011, Sonia-Lynn Gabriel, has been chosen by the Miss Lebanon committee as the Lebanese representative for the 2012 Miss World, due to a delayed Miss Lebanon 2012 contest. Sonia-Lynn was luckier than her fellow pageant competitor Carolina Nassar (first runner-up), who had the chance to take part only in a minor pageant, The ‘World Miss University’.

Miss World 2012 is taking place in Ordos, China’s inner Mongolia, on August 18.

We hope to see Sonia-Lynn, who’s somewhat new to pageants, perform her best along with Jessica Kahawaty, as this will be a very challenging competition.
