According to a reliable source, Miss Lebanon Emigrant 2011 Maria Farah has been stripped away from her title by the Ministry of Tourism, as a result of crowning the new queen of Miss Lebanon Sweden 2012 contest, which is considered illegally organized by Antoine Maksoud, the head of Miss Lebanon Committee.
The first runner-up of Miss Lebanon Emigrant 2011 Krystelle Khoury, will crown Miss Lebanon Emigrant 2012-2013 in the summer.
Meanwhile two Miss Lebanon Emigrant USA contests will be taking place soon, one in Dearborn, Michigan, on behalf of the Ministry, and another one in Washington DC, on behalf of Antoine Maksoud.
We think the only person who should be held responsible for this issue is Antoine Maksoud. Maria Farah was a contestant just like her runner-up Krystelle Khoury, she did not know what was going on behind the scenes, thus the Ministry should have not taken any actions against her!
Wow really? They gave the title to the runner up who was also with Antoine Maksoud? That is an very smart move from the Ministry. I bet it has something to do with politics. Everything always is!
