It has been a year since the passing of model Nahed Al-Saghir.

Nahed was a beautiful young woman with a great heart. She was generous, sincere, and kind. She had her fear in life but it never kept her from enjoying herself, she loved to travel, she made friends of different backgrounds who enjoyed her companionship, and her dark sense of humor.

Nahed worked as a model before she started her own modeling agency.

In 2003 she won the title Miss Globe International, and a few years later she was chosen to represent Lebanon in Miss Earth 2006 in the Philippines.

On April 16, 2011, Nahed passed away from complications of a severe kidney infection.

Nahed is greatly missed by her parents and friends. She will live forever in our hearts.
