It is not surprising to us that only a couple of men out of sixteen have the necessary qualifications for the Mister Lebanon title. We are pretty much used to this inadequate level anyway!
I have seen the candidates’ portraits in the official group, and I have to say that about ten of them are OK looking to attractive, the rest is average to unattractive.
I understand these guys have a big ego, and I know they’re looking for fame from this contest, but if they want to be famous for being handsome, when in reality they are not, then guess what? They are going to look foolish in front of the jury, the audience, and millions of viewers watching the pageant!
The majority of these guys are gym bunnies. They are obsessed with working out, because they have this flawed idea in mind that muscles equal beauty.
They need to be reminded that beauty cannot be acquired at the gym! Furthermore, it consists of a beautiful proportional face and a well-defined body, NOT a mass of muscles! So either they’re good-looking in this case, or they are not.
However, we would like to mention those who are doing their best to make the candidates look good, including the image consultant/group administrator of Mister Lebanon and make-up artist Mosbah Al-Jammal as well as the coordinator of the contest, Grace Kassis Boutros (Mrs. Lebanon/Mrs. Globe 2009 first runner-up).
Here are our choices based on the official photos released, and other photos of candidates in jeans and swimsuit:
Stronger candidates: Ali Hammoud, Charbel Abi Saad, Elie Najem, Imad Houssami, and Rodolphe Bou-Nader
Those were the candidates who are more likely to go far in Mister Lebanon 2012 which is taking place this Sunday, the 22nd, at the Regency Palace hotel, Adma.

LOL, what a great article! ktir 2aweh!
