Melinda Bam, a 22 year old ambitious student from Pretoria studying her BCOM Marketing degree has just been crowned Miss South Africa 2011.  Melinda outshone 12 other contestants to take the coveted crown.  Melinda believes she has the motivation, ambition and confidence to become an inspiring ambassador to South Africa and the youth of South Africa.

21 year old student, Thuli Sangewi from Johannesburg, was crowned Second Princess and 22 year old Remona Moodley from Cape Town was crowned First Princess. Remona held the title of First Princess for the Miss SA Teen in 2006 and was crowned Miss India South Africa in 2005.
